I was either going to get a fabric highchair/shopping cart cover or the Lobster and I'm happy I made this purchase. My baby/toddler now can be right up with us at the table at home and on the go instead of sitting in one of those short restaurant high chairs that sit underneath the table. The only downside is it won't work with a few tables that have a lip underneath as you must have a solid surface to clamp onto it - I have found that the majority of the places we eat it hasn't been an issue - when it has we use the gross highchairs at the restaurants - boo. Anyway this is great for those saving space at home and especially when eating out. Love it!

The Lobster Highchair was just what I was looking for! Originally bought it to use on a vacation but now use it regularly at home and in restaurants. It's also great to have as a spare chair when young company visits. It's lightweight and relatively compact; fits with ease in my medium-sized suitcase. Very easy to use; unfold, twist the handles to open the claws, then tighten them up so it fits securely to the table. To clean it I've just rinsed it in the sink and gently used a sponge on the dried food. The one problem I've had, which was solely due to operator error (me!), were the two small knicks I put in the wood table I attached it to. I didn't realize it needs to attach just a smidge backwards of "flush" where the metal bar that the "claws" attach to meet the table. You'll see what I mean when you use it yourself and this, in no way, is unsafe mounting! Great product, will recommend to all my mom friends.

Bought this for my 7 month old. Overall, I love it. I like how compact it is, how easy to set up. I like that it comes with a tray and it seems very well-made, sturdy and secure. There are a few things that I would like to see fixed especially for the price of this item:
- easier to adjust straps
- removable strap pads
- elastic webbing to hold the tail ends of the straps
- a better way to secure the tray to the seat (it is very easy to slide out and move around so I find I'm am pretty constantly adjusting it)
- a zippered carry bag with a long shoulder strap
Seems like a lot of flaws but they are basically small things and I would purchase this item again.
