Purchased this for my Airstream trailer. Used as replacement for a traditional bottom and back cushion set, creating a "futon-like" pull-out sitting/sleeping area. The light colored fabric was soiled in a few places when it arrived. Looks like hand prints from shipping or manufacturing folks. Will cover with futon cover, so these won't show. Would be five stars but for this. Great sleeping and siting surface.

This futon mattress is much better than expected. It sleeps like a real mattress, and it folds for seating, which is probably why you got a futon in the first place instead of another bed or a couch. I don't see how similar products could be worth the much higher price. The old futon mattress was hard and lumpy, and this is the opposite, comfortable and well-padded. Made in the USA, and appears to be durable and well made. Sure, my bed is more comfortable, but this is the perfect solution for extra sleeping space. Ours is usually covered, but the black color looks good and doesn't look like a mattress in the folded position.
Arrived in a timely manner and was nicely packaged.

I gave it 4 stars because I wasn't thrilled about the price, but it really is a great futon mattress! The shipping was great; this thing could have been thrown into a lake & water wouldn't have penetrated the packing & sealing. Thank you for quality shipping, packing & handling, it is a big deal..for that I would say 5 stars.. and comfort of the pad/mattress. I think this one might last a few years.
