The table looks nice but is much smaller than I had anticipated and it is not the best construction around. It comes in several boxes and requires a special scheduled delivery so you need to be home in order to accept delivery. The table takes at least two people to put together and when one piece slid down and fell onto the floor, it broke. We managed to glue it back together again, but... really? It breaks if it drops from 4 inches? I'm not sure it will actually seat 8 people at the table either. We had 5 at the table and it was rather cozy and we are not a large family.

I think this would be a good table for a home or apartment with limited space, but if you have a larger room, it wouldn't be a good idea. With the additional shipping costs, I think I would have been better going to a furniture store and buying one (already put together) and having it delivered. It would have been much easier and a lot faster. The tiny little allen wrenches required to put the stools together can be frustrating and painful.

If you plan to buy this, make sure you give yourself plenty of time for delivery and construction time. The total assembly time was long and tedious.

This is a great table and chairs for a great price. The table and chairs were easy to put together. I got the table with 8 chairs and it took me about 3 hours to put them all together. It's a lot easier if you have some power tools and a screwdriver with an allen wrench tip. If you try to use the allen wrench provided it would most likely take another 2 hours to put together. We love the look and style of this table.
