Product arrived intact with all pieces. Installation was very straight forward (very few steps, and not that many pieces), and took about 1.5 hours. Fortunately, the predrilled holes lined up perfectly which is uncommon for most of the self-assembled furniture I've purchased in the past. Unit looks great, and is pretty sturdy. I have absolutely no complaints.

We needed a stand for the new Plasma TV we were purchasing, so I opted for this Tech Craft stand. We already owned a component cabinet from Tech Craft, and have been very pleased with the quality. We were also happy the ease of putting it together once received. As with the component cabinet, the TV stand was very easy to put together. The black color is the same for both the component cabinet we purchased almost 5 years ago, and this new TV stand. There's plenty of venting in the back so the a/v equipment it holds won't get too hot. My only complaint was the length of time it took to receive it, but I was not aware it would come from PA and we are in AZ.

This TV table from Techcraft arrived in perfect condition, with all the parts. I was first impressed with the packaging. It's a large heavy box and I found that it was easier to remove the contents by opening on of the sides about half-way down and then lifting out each piece and packaging. I was then able to use the box again to contain all the packing materials which made cleanup quite convenient.

I have past experience assembling mail-order furniture and this was one of the better experiences. Every single part was included, no extras though, so don't loose any. With only a few exceptions, every hole and part fit perfectly. The exceptions were three of the holes drilled for the cam mechanism- the holes were a little shallow or narrow and had to be slightly enlarged. I had the same problem with the matching audio cabinet. Otherwise, everything fit and the assembly really did require only a couple of screw drivers. I only used a small power screw driver to attach the many little screws on the back piece. I'm a 65-year old woman and was able to complete the assembly on my own in less than two hours. Having an extra person to brace the long pieces would have been helpful, but I used some of the styrofoam sheets from the packaging to prop things up and was able to get all the fittings done snugly.

As noted elsewhere,the openings on the back are a little awkwardly placed. I intend to carve them out a little bit when the new AV equipment arrives, but you want to be careful not to remove too much of the backing. It is the last piece to be installed and it is an essential stabilizer for the cabinet. It's important to install it properly and to not remove too much of it. Because you can see wall through the openings, I will use two-sided tape to attach rectangles of black felt to the rear inside to mask the openings. I have the black cabinets so the openings will be invisible with this simple coverup.

I'd recommend this furniture to anyone looking for a very affordable but handsomely designed piece of audio or TV furniture.
